Ernest married Elizabeth Ann Roberts in 1907 and Henry married Nora ?.

Hi Paul
My husbands Ggrandfather was Fred Howells (a shopkeeper) in Abertillery.
His Ggrandmother He remembers (but only as Nana Pan - no first name
unfortunately). His grandparents always said that the family originated
from the Forest of Dean.
His grandparents, Jesse Walter Howells and Miriam Joan(nee Harding) were
also local business people running shops, a café, a restaurant, and the
Station Hotel, before it became Abertillery Rugby Club. Jesse Walter
also had a brother, Thomas, who is still alive and living in Torquay.
He will ask his grandmother on the weekend for some more details.
Best Regards
Julia
