Hello Barrie,
Thank you for your very kind offer of assistance. May I give
your message to a new found cousin in New Zealand? He would be
the best one to provide the names of the family members who went
to New Zealand. I am in the USA and therefore more familiar
with that branch. David Daniell would be the best one to take
advantage of your very kind offer, if this would be all right
with you.
I know that it was the Chilton branch of my Bevan family who
went there, but I don't know if these members entered as
CHILTON, Daniell, or some other name, as David Daniell is
connected to the family through a female family member.
Thanks again for your offer,
Nan Ramsey

Hello Nan,
I have a list of almost a 1000 Welsh people (including
Monmouthshire)
who went to New Zealand and were born in Wales. It can't be
published
yet as details of deaths are recent in some cases and would
infringe the
data protection act:)
One example that I can give is:-
Evan Louis Evans born 1861 Cardigan, arrived Lyttelton 1887
"Ionic".
Married 1891 Miss Skilling. In a lot of instances the brides
maiden name
is given and parents as well.
If you have a specific name I can check for you.
