Dear Paul
The main cemetery in Tredegar is Cefn Golau ('Hill of Light') which lies
on top of the mountain between Tredegar and Rhymney. It has two
sections, the older to the south and the more modern to the north.
However, I had a great aunt who died in Tredegar and was buried in
Bedwellty churchyard, Tredegar at one time being in the parish of
Bedwellty. I'd try Ceft Golau first; it's certainly the best bet.
Best wishes
Alan

Subject: [BLAENAUGWENT] Price family in Tredegar, Mon.
Dear Listers,
The late Edwin Price was born in Tredegar on 26th March 1920, son of
John Price who lived from about 1900-1934 and his wife, whose name is
not known but who lived to the ripe old age of 81 and died in 1980.
This is all that Edwin's son knows about his ancestors in Tredegar,
except that some members of the Price family were policemen and others
were on the wrong side of the law. Is there anyone who could advise me
where John Price and his wife might be buried in Tredegar?
Thanking you in anticipation,
Yours Sincerely,
Paul Newbury
