Hi matt, you can try Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council, The Register
Office, The Grove, Church Street, Tredegar NP2 3DS. If not they'll be at
County Hall in Cwmbran.
Regards,
julia

Subject: [Bla'Gwent] Nantyglo - Holy Trinity Church Parish Registers
I'm hoping someone can assist me. I have the marriage certificate from
the GRO of my great-grandfather and great-grandmother, Gwilym Williams
and May Purnell who married in Holy Trinity Church, Nantyglo in 1913.
However, I would like to obtain a copy of their signatures from the
original parish registers. I understand Holy Trinity church was
demolished many years ago. Would anybody be able to tell me where a copy
of the marriage register covering 1913 might be found? I live in
Lancashire and I'm not up to speed with the location of record offices
in south Wales so any help would be greatly received.
Many thanks in advance,
Matt Jacomb.
