Looking for information on John and Anne Morgan.
In 1836,the date of Anne's death, they were living at Llanhilleth but
may have originated from Llanelly, Breconshire. They had two sons , 1.
Israel, born c.1794, Llanelly. He married Mary Lewis of Abergavenny
and became a shopkeeper in Blaenavon. 2. Isaac, my gt.gt.gt.
grandfather, born c.1808 in Nantyglo. He married Claudia Thomas at
Brynmawr and was a grocer at Nantyglo. After Claudia's death he lived
with his brother at Blaenavon. He died in Abergavenny workhouse in
1867. At one time, one of the brothers kept the Crown Inn, Blaenavon.
