Hello Jeff (?).
I apologise for the late reply to your message of the 7th Feb., but family
circumstances have been rather traumatic of late, and this is one of the
earliest opportunities I've had to catch up on outstanding e-mails.
The intent of my original message was to locate the whereabouts of Maria
Louisa WILLIAMS in 1891.
Your reply re Charles SUMMERS in 1901, although welcome, in fact highlights
the difficulties in finding Somerset-born men of that name. The surname of
SUMMERS was a very common a surname in Somerset, and "mine" was the Charles
SUMMERS who appears on the 1901 census as "Charles SUMMERS Head M 36 Coal
(below) Red Post, Somerset."
All the same, I appreciate your getting in touch with me - you were the only
one to respond - so I'll have to find some other way of finding where Maria
Louisa WILLIAMS was in 1891. I now have reason to believe that the family
was in Blackwood at that time.
Best of luck with your own research.
Best wishes,
Mike
