Hello John,
Sorry, I do not have the answer to your question, but instead a favor to ask of
you. I am trying to locate the burial of my grandmother, she died when my mom was
five years old and unfortunately has only the information that I have discovered
through my research. I received my grandmother's death certificate from the GRO
which states that she died on March 18, 1931, in Abertillery, and I was wondering if
you would be so kind as to look for her name on your CD for me. Her name as it
appears on her death certificate is Ceridwen Wise and she was supposedly 27 when she
died. I am desperately trying to find out where she is buried because my husband and
I are going to be visiting England and Wales on Sept. 14-24 of this year and we
would like to pay our respects while we are there.
Thank you in advance,
Alesia
Fairfax, VA

I have recently purchased the CD of St. Peter's Church burials and the MI
fiche-(thanks to Ann Macey).
I have found some of my "search" names.
A couple of questions about one entry which I hope someone may be able to
give an answer.
Amelia Aubrey d. Sept. 1874 55 yrs. and her granddaughter (I think) Celia,
d. Oct. 1880 1 yr.are listed in the same grave plot. There is another burial
in the same plot, a child, Lewis Brindley Davies d. Oct. 1882 1 year old.
As there is no apparent connection between the boy and the Aubreys why are
they buried so?
Amelia Aubrey's husband George Aubrey survived her and died in May 1886,
aged 78yrs. He is however buried in Blaina Cemetery. In this plot are
George's son Thomas d. 1920, his wife Ann, d. 1946, and their daughter Sarah
Annie, d. 1960. Would there be a reason why George is not buried with
Amelia, such as the presence of Lewis Davies' remains?
Kind regards,
John,
N.W. England
