Hello everyone,
I'd just like to add to what Brian has said about
http://www.ukbdmexchange.org.uk/ not only is it useful to list all BMD
certificates that you don't want, you can list all your certificates,
with your email address, you just have to put Y or N as to availability.
The good thing is people can connect to you via these names, and can
exchange details, as not everyone needs to possess every certificate. I
found one of my more uncommon names among the birth certificates, with
an N, and on emailing the poster, found the person named was the sister
of one on my line, so connected to a distant relative to keep in touch
with and exchange info. It is worth regularly checking out the site, as
if you find a certificate listed, you can receive the details without
purchasing the certificate, so it helps us all.
Kind regards,
Cathy in South Australia

Hello Kath
Here are another couple of "Unwanted Certificate" services, in addition to
The Certificate Bank mentioned by Paul Howe <paulhowe@ntlworld.com>:-
=============================================
A web site for all our mistakes at
http://www.ukbdmexchange.org.uk/
You just submit the details of the certificates you don't want and
interested parties will get in touch with you.
=============================================
Rob Thompson also runs an unwanted certificate service in his Family History
Newsletter.
If you have a certificate you don't need that may be of use to someone else
then drop him a line, and he will advertise it in an upcoming newsletter.
