First you would have to find her in the census. Try to find the last census
she was in and then see if the place has had the cemeteries searched and put
on line. If you find her it is easy to go to the county Clerk of that county
and get a death certificate. There is much information on those death
certificates.
Contact me if you need more information.
A question for you to answer. What was the last census that she was found
in the UK? I could try a search for you. I have access to the entire US
census. Whether or not I could do much would be the census year following
he apparent leaving of UK.

What a brainwave! It's wholly possible of course, no-one still
alive
knows
if they went to the US or if they parted and she went off with
someone
else.
Is there any way of accessing US death records?
I know some of the extended family went to Pennsylvania in the 19th
century
and my sister in Canada has been in touch with their descendants.
Ooer, what if she/he/they did go?
Regards,
Geoff
