Thanks for your e-mail. Unfortunately "my" James Llewellyn was a miner,
originally from somewhere called Llanvihangel. There seem to be loads of
places with this name, so I'm not too sure where he originated.

Hi
There are some similarities here with my tree, but I expect they are just
that, given how common Williams and Llewellyn are. I have a James
Llewellyn
marrying a Catherine Williams in 1850, she was a widow and was formerly
Catherine Charles. Also the wedding was in Newport. My James was a tailor
and this was the first of 3 marriages that I know of. I have an extensive
history of my Llewellyn family. James was one of 7 brothers, 6 of which
were
tailors. Their father was also a tailor. If there is any tie up please let
me know.

Subject: [BLAENAUGWENT] My interests
Hello
Here are my Welsh interests.
Jane Williams born Merthyr Tydfil 1831
Her father was Thomas Williams, collier. His wife Ann was formerly Ann
Humphrey(s), father David Humphrey (s) miner
After Thomas's death (date not known) Ann married James Llewellyn in
Merthyr
in January 1850
Jane married William Bryn (father William Bryn, Miner) in Merthyr also
1850
Does anyone have these names etc in their history?
