Hi Michael,
Thanks for your comments.
You are correct that she was not a blushing young bride, but the groom
was not either, William JELLEY was born in 1852 and had not been married
prior to 1912.
I have checked the registrations for the period on FreeBMD, but
will start looking thru' the GRO indices not so far covered by FreeBMD
when time allows and when my wife can put up with my growling when a possible
candidate fails to deliver.
Having spent most of the day chasing any woman in Wales during the
1891 & 1901 census named Ann,Anne or Anna born in Victoria or Ebbw Vale
in 1860 - 1862 I then changed to England, still no obvious matches.
I am hoping that she was married earlier and that somewhere
there is a descendant to help me along.
So if you're out there Please Help! :o)

Hi Tony, you say you have found her on the three censuses 1861-1881,
that
would make her a little older than 20-ish, could she have been married just
after the '81 census and used her maiden name when you married in 1912?
Another thought for you to be going on with.
