Hi Ann,
Thanks for your reply, I should explain I only know her name from the
registration entry when she married in 1912.
I have found an Ann Blanning in the 1861,1871,1881, census after that she is missing.
I have spent four hours plus, glued to the census transcripts
available and to FreeBMD index files.
The surname has been transcribed by Ancestry.uk as either Blaming,
Blannig and Blanning.
