Hello this is Sylvia.
I should have proof read my last request first, made these mistakes, (1) the
year born circ; 1842. (2) father Thomas. (3) died 6 November 1929
Thank you .

Hello from sunny and warm California.
I am going to try my luck again to see if any one has ever heard of the
Reverand William Rees a baptist minister circ; 185. born Peterston-Super-Ely,
parents wre Thoma and Catherine (nee Williams) Rees.
His last residence was Ton Mawer House, Blaenavon, his wife was Emily Mary
????? she was about 9yrs older than he, we have reason to believe his first
wife may be Margaret ?????. He and Emily Mary are buried in Penygarn Buriel
Ground Ponty pool,
He is also connected with other named propertys, Barrack House and Blaenavon
Estate, was also on the town council prior to 1901, so as to my delema.
How is it with so much info we can't find where he was ordained, his first
and last church, where and when he was married x2 and their names.
I am beginning to believe unless there is some Kind Soul who can put us out
of our agony, he is a figurement of our imagination, but with so much
documentation such as his will, highly unlikely, i have tried writing to
varius colleges but have had no answers. so please HELP.

Hi everyone,
I am looking for Hayward's in Bradford, Wiltshire, England. My
GGGGrandfather was Philip Hayward. His father's name was possibly John
Hayward. I found him in Llantrissent, Monmouthshire, Wales were he had
married Emma Ellaway and had three kids two girls and a boy Anne Ellen,
Alfred and Matilda before coming to the US. He was a miner in Houzdale,
Clearfield County, Pennsylvania until his death in 1884-85. I had found other
Hayward's in Momouthshire also and they had come from Bradford, Wiltshire,
England. This is why I am posting to this list to see if maybe he may have
come from here. Thank you for any help you can give.

While checking out some very old disks today, I discovered I have part of
the 1851 2% census for MON containing the following places:
Caerwent, Wonaston, Glascoed, Upper Machen & Machen Village,
Newport (mostly Commercial Street), Uchlawrcoed and Penmaen.
I would be happy to do lookups but remember, this is only the 2% extract so
your family may not be here. And PLEASE give as much info as you can for
common names - not just "David JONES"!!
Cheers,
Pam

Hi
I'm looking for SKS to help. I am looking for a reference in the 1861 census to John Coleman and Ellen Coleman formerly Daly who lived in Blaina. They had a daughter Mary who was born in November 1857 and so would have been 3 or 4 depending when the census was taken.
If anyone can help then thanks up front.

I have found an old photograph of my family dated July 1910, and
scribbled
on the back is a name and address, as follows:
Mrs. Smith, 33 Blimitt Street, Newport.
This is probably Bluett Street. this is in the Baneswell area of the
town very close to the town centre.

Dear List,
I have found an old photograph of my family dated July 1910, and scribbled
on the back is a name and address, as follows:
Mrs. Smith, 33 Blimitt Street, Newport.
Does anyone know of such a street in Newport or anything like it, and is it
still there?
Thank you in anticipation.
Regard
Sandra James

Hi,
Have found GEORGE JURY [#1]in the 1901 and 1914 Kelly's living at CRIPATH
FARM in BASSALEG.
Is there any way to find out who lived on this farm with him? I have tried
to track my Great Grandfather but keep running into the wrong George Jury.
In 1902 my grandfather George Jury [#2] was living in Burnley Lanc. and that
is where my father was born, but I have been unable to locate George [# 1]
anywhere.
Great Grandfather George Jury was married to Sarah Jane Wollacott
Woolacott].
He would have been born in Devon Eng. around 1842, married Sarah Jane around
1870-1872.
Hope someone knows how to find the answer to this.
Thank you all,

Can anyone help please?
I'm trying to find out where I should go to search census records 1851/1861
for the Ebbw Vale and Tredegar areas.Does anyone know which Record Office
holds them?
Is there a BlaenauGwent Record office? If so where?
I've only recently become a member, and couldn't find any mention in the
newsletter from the Gwent FHS.
Many thanks
Sue

John,
I have not received the Men of Monmouthshire All at sea 1881 Census.
Perhaps it was because I was tardy in requesting it.
Thank you for your help.
