Why Connie ? Do you think they may have been 'nuked' by the English?

Does anybody have any information on the following (all surname Cooper):
Louisa (born 1886), Joseph (born 1887) and Martha Ann (born 1890) and
Bernard, Griffith and Fanny all born 1890s/early1900s. All were born in
Abertillery/Cwmtillery area. Parents were Joseph Cooper and Martha,
formerly Plummer (both born 1863). Any information on Martha's ancestors
also very welcome.
Regards
John Cooper

Hi all! I am searching for Maria Thomas from Ebbw Vale (married to William
Cool from Bristol, ENG). According to the 1880 Monmouthshire census, they
had 8 children (Charles, Annie, Honour, Mary Beatrice, Augusta, Eve, Martha
and Valentine) born in Ebbw Vale and Pontypool.
Maria and children moved to IL USA.
Does anyone recognise this family? I'd be grateful to share information.
TIA

Searching Cool, Fay, Fox, Gahagan, Jester, Jones, Lyke, Westwood
Hi all - I have been attempting (unsuccessfully at present), to locate the
parents of Job Jones born in Tony Pandy and died in Pineville, KY USA.
He married Mary Beatrice Cool from Pontypool. The 1900 KY census
inplies that his father didn't emmigrate with him, although I know Mary's
family did. From the 1900 KY census, I know them to have three children,
Edith, William, and John (and my grandmother Lucy was born in 1906).
Any information about this family or perhaps hints/theories about
emmigration from South Wales to KY would be very helpful. (My
assumption is due to the mining industry which existed in both locations at
the time).
Thanks in advance and hopefully there is someone who is searching the same
lineage so that I can return the favour.
TIA

Hi all! I am searching for William Cool who married Maria Thomas from Ebbw
Vale. According to the 1880 Monmouthshire census, they had 8
children (Charles, Annie, Honour, Mary Beatrice, Augusta, Eve, Martha and
Valentine) but I understand there were more after that. Maria and
children moved to IL USA -- I don't think William did.
Does anyone recognise this family? I hope that I might have lots of distant
cousins searching this same family so that I can share my information.
TIA

Hi!
Am looking for any info. regarding a cemetery called CARMEL & EBENEZER Cem.
Dukestown. My paternal grandfather's older brother (Robert Dalgleish, age 15
months) was apparently buried there ca 6 Mar 1882. How close proximity is
this to Sirhowy and to Rhymney? Since my gr. grandparents (THOMAS DALGLEISH &
MARY JANE CROCKER DALGLEISH) died within one month of each (2 Nov 1888 & 1 Dec
1888), in Rhymney, would they have been buried there, or in Dukestown? They
were very, very poor. My gr. grpa THOMAS (age 38) committed "suicide whilst
insane", and MARY JANE (age 32), died after going into a coma. I am asking if
someone would be willing to look up burial records in Rhymney and/or Dukestown
(Carmel & Ebenezer) for these names. It wasn't until 1998 that I finally
obtained the death certs. for my gr. grandparents, after looking for over 20
yrs! The registrars had spelled DALGLEISH as DAGLESCH!! OH, the joys of
different spellings of a surname!! Now, to fit the final pieces of the puzzle
together, I would dearly love to know where each of them are buried!
Thank you in advance!
Holiday Wishes,
Kathy (Dalgleish) Gregory

Does any fortunate soul have the Llanwenarth parish register and if so,
would you be willing to do a lookup for me. The BT only covers to 1863.
The persons are John Watkins born in 1798 in Llanfoist and Mary (Ann)
Watkins born 1793 in Llangattock, Brecon. They were on the 1871 Census in
Trevithin. Their children were all christened in Llanwenarth parish. The
date of death would be after 1871 and probably before 1885 since they are
not found in that region on the census. Many thanks. Georgia
I am trying to trace my grandmothers family.
All I have is John Henry JONES was living at 76, LIME STREET in NEWPORT
MON in 1920. My grandmother Mary Alice Jones was born in 1899, and
possible lived at this address at the time. Could some kind person look
in the 1891 census to see if the JONES' lived in Lime Street in 1891

Hello List
I am researching the family of John S ROWLANDS b April 7 1862 in
Abergavenny (spelled Adverkavendy in family records so Abergavenny seems
likely) He died in Trumbull Co Ohio in 1921.
His death certificate lists him as born Wales. His parents are listed as
Daniel ROWLANDS & ______ POWELL, both born Wales.
I do not know if he had any siblings. I do not know when he immigrated but
before 1889 as he married then in Ohio. I do not know if his parents stayed
in Wales. My father tells me that he remembers being told he had relatives
in Cardiff who owned a print shop, but I've not yet pursued that clue.
I 1st need to place this family, so wondered if someone could do a census
lookup in Abergavenny for Daniel ROWLANDS & family in 1860 & 70 & 80, or
tell me the best place to look for that info.
Of course, if any of this is at all familiar to anyone, would love to
exchange info.
