FERGUSON, Robert Duncan - M30/1/1852 - At Queen Street, Edinburgh, on the
30th ultimo, Robert Duncan Ferguson, Esq., late of the Rifle Brigade,
third surviving son of Sir James Ferguson, Baronet, late of Kilkerran, and
of the right Hon. Lady Henrietta Ferguson, to Helen, youngest daughter of
John Blackburn, Esq., of Killearn.
HASTIE, Alexander - M28/1/1852 - At West Shandon, Dumbartonshire, on the
28th ultimo, by the Rev. Dr Napier, Alexander Hastie, Esq., M.P. for the
city of Glasgow, to Anne, eldest daughter of Robert Napier, Esq.,
MILROY, William - M20/1/1852 - At Barnvannoch, parish of Ballantrae, on
the 20th ult., by the Rev. Mr Porteous, Mr William Milroy, farmer,
Lairdshill, Inch, to Charlotte, third daughter of the late Mr M'Whirter,
THOMSON, William - D1/2/1852 -Here, at George Street, on the morning of
the 1st February current, Mr William Thomson, of the Albion Hotel, aged 60
years. Kind, inoffensive, and upright in his general deportment -
faithful and affectionate in the discharge of his various duties - and
steadfast in his love to the house of God and the ordinances of religion -
his memory will be long and fondly cherished by all who knew him.
