Hi Margaret (& possibly others)
Is anyone researching the DEAN family of Dundonald?
Your note about the Deans sent me to the Dundonald MIs,
and I hope I'm not repeating data I've already sent, but here
The following inscriptions are extracted from the booklet published
by the Troon & District FHS, "Dundonald Monumental Inscriptions",
published 1994, ISBN #0-9522292-0-X. Any marked with an * suggest
that there may be further information available in either the
Dndonald Burial Register, or in the OPR burial register.
The following graves, according to the plan map, are all near each
other, grouped together as follows: 108-11, 112 & 113, 114 & 115.
Considering the inscription of #109 seems to be applicable to your
searches, I've included them all. Enjoy!

Good was his heart; in friendship sound.
Patient in pain, and loved by all around.
His pains are o'er; his griefs forever done.
A life of endless joy is now begun.
If these are yours, looks like there are quite a few clues
in there to keep you busy for a wee while!
