Joseph Dore died at age 16y in 1886. His death is recorded in "The Mercury"
13th December 1886 with a note for Beechworth or Stanley papers to copy the notice. My
question is what would be the best way of finding out whether this notice was copied in
either paper on or about the 13th December 1886. It does not solve the problem of why ie.
which relatives the family were seeking to inform. That would be a second question-how to
ascertain that sort of information. Would relatives have been involved in the gold rush?
Any help would be much appreciated.
