I will add the following comments to what is already written on this blog...
"A convict’s crime is usually listed on their conduct record and most
are now linked from the search name. Con 31 and Con 33 for males and Con
40 and Con 41 for females are linked.Some of the auxiliary records may
not be but finding the Police number for your convict will help. This is
found on the left hand side next the convict's name and is consistent
for all records pertaining to one particular person.
Libraries Tasmania have a link to the convict records they hold...
If a person has a convict with a common name... Founders and Survivors
may help in help to distinguish between them - with some personal
details, in many cases including age, where convicted and their native
place and sometimes
