If you should come across a Francis Archibald KING, who was father of
Percival Vincent KING b.1879 Georgetown, Tasmania (mother Matilda MATTSON),
I should be interested in any further step-children.

Subject: King Family
>Hi! Keith Maynard,
>I too am researching my familyof King, but there may be no connection.
Mine originated in Sandy, Bedfordshire. Having become stuck on William
married in 1790 I am now looking for his son James born 1796. I was told
one of my ancestors was sent out to Australia for stealing a sheep. So I
looked up the ship register and found a James King came out on the Queen
Charlotte in 1829 via Calcutta. Launceston and Sydney. That sounds more
probable than your James who was only born in 1820, I am going to my local
Family History Society to-day to see if I can find out more about the
passengers on that ship. He could have landed up in Sydney, I haven't
started looking there.
