Yes, I do have a good memory as far as 'some' records are concerned, and know
where to look for certain information.
Generally I rely on the many many records I have transcribed over the years as
I have indexed a few more than are available on my Port Jackson Convicts
Anthology, Historical Records, and Selected Documents CDs ... just for my own
personal records and interest.
It is fairly easy to do a find and search on my records :))))) and a good
understanding of the system at the time helps a LOT !!

Dear Lesley, you either have an astounding filing system or and
astounding memory recall and I fancy it is both but more so the latter.
I never go to bed without checking for the latest 'entry' (I can't find
the correct word,) historical, factual, encouraging, etc to guide us off
our wrong track and down the correct one.
I do like the 'badge of infamy' the other Jane Jones had to wear. When
I consider how lovely all my convicts, male and female turned out to be,
I wonder about the others, did they become loving parents and grand
