Hi I have been trying to find my mother-in-law ancestors and Scott is one of
them. So if I see anyone with Scott I ask them all the same question.
'Have you done the Scott genealogy to date and have the Scotts marrying the
Browns in early 1900?'.
My m-i-l has no information on her family so I would love to find some for
her. She doesn't know whether from convicts or not.
My convicts researching are Joseph Roughley 'Tottenham 1818'
Thanks for any help anyone can give me.

Subject: [PJ] My Convicts
Have been interested to read all about your convicts. Have posted mine again
in case of common interests.
John CROSS 1788 'Alexander'
Mary DAVIDSON 1790 'Lady Juliana'
Edward RILEY 1790 'Scarborough'
Elizabeth 'Betty' MITCHELL 1791 'MaryAnn'
Mary STEVENS 1801 'Earl Cornwallis'
Pierce COLLITS 1801 'Minorca'
Mary BELLAS 1806 'Alexander'
Michael SCOTT* 1821 'Prince Regent II'
George TROTH 1831 'Mangles'
Robert CUNDY 1832 'Lady Harewood'
*Michael SCOTT was assigned to Pierce COLLITS and spent three years in Hyde
Park Barracks for 'seducing' Sarah COLLITS, daughter of Pierce. (Does that
make him a double convict?)
Then there was silly old Alexander CROSS (son of John CROSS & Mary
DAVIDSON), who was born here in 1803 and then managed to get himself
convicted and sent to Van Dieman's Land.
Have recently found Thomas FOWLER - Pentonvillian (Exiles to Port Phillip)
